"FOCUSED ON LATE-STAGE SILVER AND GOLD PROJECTS IN THE AMERICAS"
Journey Resources is focused on the acquisition, exploration, development and operation of “advanced-stage or “near-production” silver and gold projects. Currently there are four projects they are aggressively pursuing in the USA, Mexico and Peru, including three that are considered advanced-stage.
Journey has a strong management and geological team in place with considerable experience in both the mining and financial communities. The core geological group includes two internationally recognized geologists, both with PhDs, and a highly-qualified mining engineer, key to bringing mines into production. Journey is leveraging these financial and geological strengths to build a diverse company dedicated to developing shareholder value.
Silveria, in Peru, is Journey’s flagship project with silver, gold copper, lead and zinc credits. This 4000 hectare property, a consolidation of 4 formerly producing mines, was once Peru’s largest silver producer before being closed for past political problems. It is currently permitted to operate a milling facility at 500 tonne/day (to be increased). Within 18 months, Journey plans to purchase and implement a plant at Silveria to begin exploiting tailings dumps and existing mine workings there. The Company will also drill and further explore the historical zones and explore for new zones -- although previously mined, none of the extensive property has ever been drilled. The Musgrove Creek Gold Project in Idaho is in a prolific mining district in Idaho and already has a NI 43-101 Inferred Mineral Resource estimate in place. The Viney Mine in Mexico has a silver-lead-zinc mineralization production history and the potential for new discoveries. The Silver Mountain Mine in Peru is a high-grade silver project.
