Tumi is a Vancouver-based mineral exploration company, with management comprised of highly experienced accounting, financial, geological, mining engineering and public relations personnel. The Company is a silver/gold and base metal explorer with a silver/gold focus. It has 10 projects in Sweden and a further 3 in Mexico, all 100% owned. The year 2010 promises to be a busy exploration year with several drill and other work programs planned.

Tumi’s initial focus was Mexico, the world’s biggest silver producer, where Tumi is continuing advanced exploration to expand its historic La Trini mineralization and NI43-101 compliant silver/gold resource.

Research for new silver projects led Tumi to the Bergslagen District of south-central Sweden immediately to the north-west of Stockholm. Bergslagen is one of the most important mining areas of Europe and Tumi is now a major claim holder in this region. Properties there include the historic Sala silver mine, which operated for more than 440 years and produced some 200 million ounces of silver and reportedly had some of the richest silver grades in the world. Tumi has completed a 10 hole core drill program immediately to the west of the old Sala mine totalling 2,282m in ten drill holes. Significant silver-zinc intercepts have been discovered in the first 3 core drill holes including 9.85m at 203 g/t silver and 6.4% zinc and 22.1m at 34 g/t silver and 6.3% zinc in Hole 3. In Bergslagen the Company has 5 drill-ready and highly-prospective exploration projects which will be the major focus for Tumi during the coming months.
